Every Thai company must file monthly, and a company with foreign staff has more at stake than most: a lapse in filings can put the Work Permits of your team at risk. We keep the books current so that permits sail through renewals.
What is included
- Monthly bookkeeping and financial statements
- Monthly VAT and withholding tax filings
- Social security registration and monthly contributions
- Personal income tax returns for directors and foreign staff
- Half-year and annual corporate tax filings
- Support letters for Work Permit renewals
What you will need
- Bank statements for the company account each month
- Supplier invoices and receipts
- Payroll details, including allowances and bonuses
- Contracts for any significant transactions
How the process runs
- We set up the accounting calendar for your company
- Documents are collected each month and the books are posted
- Tax filings are made on time, with the receipts kept together
- Before year end we review the position and plan the closing
- When a Work Permit renewal is approaching, we prepare the supporting letters
Timing
Monthly work is completed after the closing of each month; the statutory deadlines are met as a matter of course. Set-up takes about a week once your documents are with us.
Worth knowing
Accounting is not the place to save a few thousand baht a year. The penalties are multiples of the fee, and a company with a poor filing record looks exactly the same to an officer as a company that is not trading legitimately.
